Dystopia

Created in the dead centre of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dystopia is a reflection of what the world felt like when everything stood still—but not in a peaceful way. This isn’t a sci-fi fantasy. It’s what was real. Empty streets. Flickering screens. Fear soaked into the cracks of every routine.

The Latin phrase nullum reditus (“no return”) became a mantra. Whether we wanted to admit it or not, something had shifted. Globally. Personally. Permanently. There would be recovery, but not a return.

The mirrored skyline hints at the illusion of stability, while the fractured, jagged buildings speak to the internal and external disarray we all tried to keep upright. It’s beautiful in that haunting, hollow way—like nostalgia for a version of the world that only half-existed in the first place.
